Z-Line

Health
The Z-Line is a portable 8' slackline structure made of 6061 aluminum weighing less than 20 kg. It has the feel of a 24' slackline due to a unique system design of nylon webbing.

What inspired you to make this project?
I love to slackline. When winter came this last year it was difficult to set up a slackline between two trees. So, I thought, huh, why don't I make a portable structure out of wood and use a ratchet to tighten the webbing. I built it, and was incredibly surprised with how well it worked. I was surprised with how well it worked, it also substantially improved my overall balance and well being. Then I gave it to one of my friends who was having knee problems. After a month he was amazed with how good it was. At that point I was inspired to make one out of Aluminum that is stronger and light weight. As I said earlier, I am currently welding it right now.
